Contract Description:
On March 6, 2015, General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) and AESY were awarded a $101M Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide IT services in support of the missions of the Department of Interior (DOI) Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) and the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) in the areas of system operations and maintenance, IT security, administrative support, project management, mission desktop/workstation support, application development, and maintenance. The contract is performance-based with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) tied to incentives/disincentives for the work performed under each call order awarded under the BPA.
BOEM/BSEE are responsible for managing the nation’s offshore energy, minerals, and natural resources on the Federal Outer Continental Shelf (OCS). The scope of IT mission support under this BPA also encompasses Modernization and Enhancement (M&E) initiatives which substantively improve existing capabilities and performance, assistance in the selection, preparation, and move to cloud services in a tailor-made deployment, Business Intelligence/Information Management, Mobile Device Management, and Mobile Application Development including hosting, distributing, and providing support for BOEM/BSEE mobile applications.
AESY achieved this mission essential contract award due to our DevOps methodology that will optimize the development/release processes, highly skilled IT professionals with proven technical skills and experience, BOEM/BSEE domain experience, and demonstrated capabilities to provide IT support, enterprise engineering, integration services, operations and maintenance, and user support across multiple domains in all service areas outlined in the BPA and Call Order statements of objectives.
